Simone Carey is a self-taught contemporary visual artist from Atlanta - now based in Chicago. Simone has deep southern and Afro-Caribbean roots, and she has always been drawn to the freedom of expression that art offers and the way it allows her to tell stories that matter.

Her pieces are often centered around strong, powerful women, the beauty of Black features, and the bonds of family. Each piece is vibrant and emotionally charged—celebrating identity, resilience, and the joy found in everyday life.
